The most 'favourite' areas for the criminal gangs were within the limits of Bhara Kahu, Sabzi Mandi, Golra, Kohsar, Ramna, Industrial Area, and Koral police stations. During the aforementioned period, Bhara Kahu police station registered two cases of robbery and one case of auto theft. The auto thieves had stolen a car bearing registration number LXD-437 of a citizen Zeshan Azhar valuing Rs250,000.
Another Muhammad Dawood informed the same police station that accused Bilal Ali along with others had stolen edibles valuing Rs105,000 from his shop. In the same area, a victim Hilal Ahmed filed a complaint with Bhara Kahu police station that the unknown accused stole valuables worth Rs150,000 from his shop.
In the aforementioned period, the auto thieves remained active in the jurisdiction of Sabzi Mandi police station as it registered four cases of car lifting. The auto thieves had stolen a car bearing registration number GA-035 of one Iftikhar Ahmed and lifted a bike bearing registration number ALL-859 valuing Rs40,000 of another Fidah. They also had stolen a bike bearing registration EM-792 of a citizen Junaid Ali valuing Rs40,000.
During the last week, Golra police station registered one case each of robbery and auto theft. One Muhammad Shafiq informed Golra police station that his maid Shamim and others had stolen gold jewellery, prize bonds and cash of worth Rs1,100,000 from his house.
The motor vehicle thieves stole a bike (RIL-107) valuing Rs45,000 of a citizen Imran Khan. On case each of robbery and kidnapping were reported to Kohsar police station during the period. One Babu Masih informed that accused Kamran and Razaq have kidnapped his daughter.
In another incident, one Muhammad Ranja filed a complaint with Kohsar police station that unknown people have stolen a mobile phone valuing Rs55,000 from his house. Similarly, Ramna police station registered two cases of robbery during the last week. One Ghulam Mustafa filed a complaint with Ramna police station that unknown thieves snatched a handbag from his wife containing valuables worth Rs100,000. Another Fahim Ahmed filed a complaint with Ramna police station that unidentified accused have stole Rs260,000 cash from his shop.
Koral police station registered one case each of snatching at gunpoint and dacoity. One Mehmood Anwar informed Koral police station that four armed person broke into his house and snatched cash, jewellery and mobile phone valuing Rs1,200,000 at gunpoint and escaped from the scene. One Shahzad Aslam informed Koral police station that four unknown armed persons looted cash and jewellery from his house.
The auto thieves had stolen a bike valuing Rs100,000 of one Munir Ahmed and lifted a car bearing registration number AE-432 of Muhammad Rafiq, worth Rs550,000, from the limits of Industrial Area police station. Khanna, Tarnol, Aabpara and Sihala police stations registered one case each of robbery, Karachi Company police registered one case of auto theft and one case of kidnapping was reported to Nilor police station.
